Discussion:
Unit opperates some times

We have this unit in shop, very clean unit only 250 hrs.
Problem is some times unit will operate fine.
95% will not run
This is what I know
batteries are good, fuses and holder OK.
quick disconnect C/B good all micro switches OK / swing gates /motor cover M/S
Right segment bar lit and truck beeps when I try to operate it.
handset and BDI Service code 1
Code input.
Contactor does not pull in when truck is keyed up but tests fine I have 24V going to it but what controls ground?
Strange thing is if service panel is switched to base up/down function does not work?
Also the bypass for hand proximity works
Any ideas
as I said above when truck decides to work Runs fine until you get off and then go back truck does not run,
Any ideas ?
I have looked at schematic many times

CODE INPUT and the DRIVE CODE setting allows you to set a security feature on the unit whereby you can specify that when keyed on, it has to see either a fwd/rev or steer input every time before it will allow operation. Setting it back to factory defaults will set the DRIVE CODE function back to disabled. Either you were unknowingly hitting the correct input 10% of the time after key-on or one of the pots is not correctly adjusted and the controller was seeing it as a code input occasionally.

Thanks found problem
had to go in and reload factory settings.
Maybe because it sat for a while with dead batteries ?

But why start up 10% of time!
