Hi Snapman the company i work for (a international manufacturor) are currently advertising for engineers,i think they are a bit more selective because they have interviewed quite a few and not took any one on yet.A few years ago they took on the first person through the door who had seen a forklift,we are still getting plenty of work and overtime and we have just got a bonus, but i can see it starting to slow down and maybe tightening of belts in the near future.I think most companies would still recruit good engineers if they came up due to a shortage of trained flt engineers out there, hopefully this will put the money up in the future(you never know). Are you working for a dealer or one man band?hope it picks up for you.
Cheers Herald.
