Do you have a muiltimeter if so put it on ohms and check the neutral switch with the wires disconnected put the truck in and see if the switch is closed than see if when you put it in forward and reverse it is open if the switch is good than go to the keyswitch and find the start terminal run one wire from the start terminal of keyswitch to one side of neutral switch than take the other terminal and run another wire from other side of neutral switch to starter s post the small wire on starter that should make the truck start in neutral only.
I don't understand that if you have neutral wires disconnected than how is it possible that if the s post of starter is not jumped there would be no way for starter to crank.
Went back no additional wires ran to starter to key switch, will somehow have to add a wire from key switch to neutral switch to starter if that makes sense
I'm going back tomorrow will dig into it and report back
Check to see some one must have ran a wire from keyswitch start terminal to s post on starter if you disconnected neutral switch and it still starts. Get back to me and l will help you fix this. This is dangerous could run someone over.
