Transmission acting up

Advise please.

I have been offered a 1997 JCB 530-70 Loadall. I am told that the gears select ok with exception of 4th gear.

Is this likely to be an expensive problem or I am going to be lucky.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thankyou. John Taylor

Seems just an electric problem. Think not to be very expensive.
