Mitsubishi FD30K:
Transmision problems.

We are having trouble with a mitsubishi disel forklift, made year -02. The truck has about 3500hours on it.

First the valve package above the gearbox brooke. And we replaced it. New solinoids etc..

But now the forklift dont go without standing still and making the engine rev abit first. Its like its slipping before getting power to move.

We have checked oil pressure and the play fore the inchin pedal etc acording to the service manuall. And everything seams good.

We are planning on taking the tranny apart and replacing slipdisks(ore whats it cald?).

Ore can it be something els? ore tips are welcome.

We have changed oil and it turns bad in just a couple of weeks. We havent had service on this truck from the beginning it was another service company. So I cant garante that they have changed oil as often as they should have. Can this be the cause of bad service to the tranny? making it fail in just 3500hours..

Sorry fore my bad English.. Hope you can understand me.

Staffan,
Is it doing this in both directions? Do you have any pressure readings for the Pump and Clutch Pack? You may be fighting one of two things. (1) A bad Torque Converter (2) Possible restriction in the Control Valve you installed, either the gasket was incorrect or positioned improperly.
Let me know
