Trans solenoids

New to me S60 , Had no forward , reverse ,I found that by grounding one of the wires from the soliniods more toward the center of the transmission , I get gears forward and back , BUT what are the two soliniods on the right hand side of the transmission ? I dont want to screw anything up, any idea what they do , when do they need power ? , Yes , has some secondhand wiring , Anyway to add a pix ?

Thanks Daniel
