Discussion:
Trans Issue - Reverse but no forward travel

Hello, have issue with transmission. The reverse runs great, I put in reverse and it has idle change but, in forward nothing, I put lever forward and I only hear the click from the lever but no idle change, it does nothing, like in neutral. Is the trans bad or could it be an electrical issue? I apologize if this seem like a dumb question but, I have only worked on electric lifts until now. Thanks in advance.

Im having the same exact issue, did you eventually figure it out? was it the fwd/
rev solenoid? i'v already replaced the switch's and both directional relays on mine but it still will randomly have forward cut out.

Could either be a bad or misadjusted switch in the control handle or the fwd/rev solenoid is bad....ohm the solenoid should benaround 10-15 ohms....check your switches....is this a monotrol pedal or does it have a control handle on colum for fwd/rev?.....either way check the fwd swithc for operation and adjustment.
