Has excelerator problem.Doesnt go full power sometimes.{Like a flat spot in carburatored gas engine}.Mash it wide open ,It acts like its at 1/2 throttle.will slowly pick up power.Let up ,try it again its ok.Seems to work much better ,slowly mashing the throttle. Could problem be excelerator switch? Thats what Im thinking{.Acts sort of like a bad pot on an electric lift}.Kent

Hello bbforks
you don't know me but I was reading a post that you lend a helping some hand and said you would have info/manual for the Toyota 7fgcu30 forklift I am workling on this 7fgcu30 with ecs throttle drive by wire I need a wiring diagram for this electronic throttle body system if possible this is my first time posting ty my email is eric74hong at gmail dot com
i have a 7 series toyota with an electronic throttle body , the forklift starts but i got no acceration, i replace the speed pot at floor pedar and still get nothing , maybe iti might be the throttle body itself?
Thanks, I sprayed some carb.cleaner down throttle body.Seems to be ok now. Thanks Kent
Sounds like a sticky throttle plate to me and given the fact no engine lamp on I hardly believe a throttle pot failure. You should be able to remove throttle body and clean with carb cleaner and rag however be careful of spring tension on butterfly ( it is strong and unforgiving to fingers). I would also check all hoses to regulator and balance tank (located on fan shroud or radiator, two hoses) Congratulations on your business adventure,BEST of Luck
Congratulations & welcome to the club. I've been in business 25 yrs & enjoy it most of the time ;o If there's anything I can do for you, don't hesitate to ask

yeah kent, i'm still there
been with them this go around about 8yrs
first time was a 5yr stretch, back when they were still Carolina Tractor, thats been a long while though :o)
I was hired by Yale when those boys that left CT bought out coleman company and formed Yale Carolinas. I stayed with Yale Caro for just about 18yrs.
How long have you been on your own?
Are you still working for lift one.I worked for W.C.F. Hickory, then Charoltte branch for 15 years. Before going on my on.Thanks for the help. Kent
dont remove the throttle body, you can spray some carb cleaner down the chamber after removing the airhorn from the top. Just dont get to happy with spraying it and flood out the engine ;o)
Don't mess with throttle body, big mistake. It is usually the throttle pot on accelerator that needs to be electrically centered. Do not use solvents on pots!
Dosent show any codes. This is an LP lift.Is their anything I should watch out for when removeing throttle body. Its ok to clean with carb.spray cleaner? Its ran fine today but,Im sure problem will happen again. Thanks Kent
You also have to electrically center the throttle pot. And I found if you try to accellerate without the pedal stops, will code out.
