toyota 6hbe30 no emergency reverse

no emergency reverse when button pushed all other functions ok removed and checked switch ok, tested wiring ok no opens or shorts checked pmc 7 have 22.7 volts at all times pushing emergency reverse button does not change reading

It is the strangest thing but the concept is if you are going through a plastic curtain and pressing the horn the truck will not reverse if the belly button is hit. Glad you got it fixed without replacing the controller.

The horn button on the grab bar is faulty. It is a 4 post switch and the reverser runs to the normally closed side. Drove me nuts the first time I ran into it.
