Toyota 7FGU35:
timing issue

We have an issue with this unit where we cant seem to get the timing correct. It has the Vortec V-6 in it and just wondering if it can be adjusted properly without a laptop plugged into it and if so what the procedure would be.

Thanks alot any help would be great

align the timing mark to crankshaft and distributor rotor to #1 cylinder several times until you get it right. Pull #1 plug and make sure is at TDC
