Tilt won't hold

Hey I am having a problem with my tilt on an old clark I tilt the mast back let off and she goe right back forward Ireplaced the o rings in the valve body but still same problem?

it is most likely your tilt cylinders need to be resealed just like the previous person said, had this happen to one of our old clarks

You could also have a faulty tilt relief valve. Did this just start happening? was it a gradual failure or all of a sudden?

Chances are the fluid is bypassing in the tilt cylinders. They either need to be repacked or I have also seen a void between the rod and the piston that holds the packing that seals against the shell that lets the fluid bypass.
