Hyster S30FT:
Seat switch

This unit has a vinyl seat with the switch in it. I am having trouble finding a new seat and am told it is no longer available. Is there a way to attach the wire harness (4 wire) to a generic 2 wire seat swich?

The vinyl seat and back cushions are 1 integral part and i can't seem to find a replacement.

I think that 4 wire switch is a special proximity switch and works completly different than a generic 2 wire switch. You can take the switch out of your old seat and mount it in a new seat by removing the generic 2 wire switch assembly. It should fit in there. How about just buying new cushions for your old seat?
