sounds like regulator/vaporizer is freezing up. low on coolant or air bound.
i have at 8fgcu25 its hard to start and will idle fine till the temp is at the half way point to then will start running like *** ive done and tryed everything that i have seen on here and no luck
Also try the taking the electric valve off the side of the carb horn and clean it out thoroughly. I have seen them build up oil sludge on the needle valve and the horn.
I have similar problem at 3000 hrs -hard to start and stalls after a long high rev drive -found the vac hose off of the intake hose between air filter and intake -still doesnt want to idle or start without keeping your foot on accelerator. I'll try to adjust mixer and clean throttlebody and clean or replace the inline fuel filter.
Thanks, We had the results as you. We are now up and running
We have resolved this idle issue on the units that were being affected by adjusting the idle mixture at the regulator. This can be accomplished by knocking out the cap that covers the idle mixture screw on the top of the regulator and turning the idle screw until the unit stops surging. The idle speed may have to be adjusted once the fuel mixture is adjusted. No parts required. This issue may be attributed to the units being set at near sea level and then being put into service at a higher elevation.
Yes it is inline by the regulator.
Well we have ordered a new throttle body assebly and just waiting for it to come in. Where is the Lp filter on these ones. Is it just an inline one at the regulator?
I am assuming that you have replaced the lp filter. You will probably have to hook up a Toyota hand held to see what the injection period is, it is possible that the lp regulator is messing up just enough to idle poorly and not throw a code.
I have 4 units doing the same thing did you find out what this is?
Thanks, Yes i have tried that but it didnt help. No vacuum leaks, ignition system looks good. If i create a vac leak the computer will compensate and it sounds good for a few seconds and then it goes back to running like crap. No codes.

probably a build up in the throttle throat... remove and clean it with carb spray... it's a common issue.
