Discussion:
HYUNDAI?

You may have read my posts in the safety portion of the discussion forums however, this time, I need some quick info. I do training at a college who is currently looking at a Hyundai HLF20-5, or 25-5 for use for my courses, and some work around the college. The work involved won't be dramatic by any means, and the usage, rather limited. One of the main purposes is for my training at the college, however, other departments at the college can find other uses for this truck. There is also a very limited budget.

So, what is your opinion of Hyundai, and or this particular truck? Specs...4000-5000lb capacity, pneumatic tires, propane-powered, sideshifter, and that is about it.

Beats the old Cat we were using for some time now.

Thanks for your responses, in advance.

We have been a Hyundai dealer for 20 months and have not had one service call since yet. I have read some negative comments regarding Hyundai on these forums, but my experience with the trucks have been positive. I would highly recommend. It is alot of truck for the price.
