We have done several tests, from the exhaust to the bottom of the counterweight, soundproof siding with tapestry, both the environment of the suction, as under the hood, which is already isolated from the factory, also the roof internally, the inner of the board of the pedals and the upper radiator cap, knowing that the back carries a driver's cabin door with plastic zippers, totally off the hook.
After doing these tests, we left at about 82-83 db, given that the noise level of the factory is prowling the 77-78 db.
With these data, and without thinking of a cabin fitted with tight seals, COULD YOU tell me any other solution to get down them below 80 decibels..???

Also the use of a sound mat like dynamat might help
this unit often gets the fan drive belt tensioner pulley over tightened, which puts un-needed side pressure on the hydraulic pump jack-shaft and u-joint, which can considerably increase engine noise levels. this tensioner does NOT need to be very tight at all, (just finger pulling on the tensioner is fine) since the only thing being driven by that belt is a fan blade, not like one that the fan and alt and water pump run off the same belt. you can also consider removing the belt, tensioner and fan, and replacing with an automotive after-market electric radiator fan.

The listed driver ear Db reading for this machine is 76.5Db. This is with no cab fitted just the standard overhead guard. Any cab that you may have fitted will trap and amplify the sound to increase the reading. You should also check for increased mechanical noise from the pump drive shaft, engine and overhead guard mounts etc. It also may be worth checking that you Db meter is reading correctly as these machines are not that noisy in normal circumstances. Your reading of 83-84 is roughly 5 or 6 times louder than the stated reading for this machine (which is a lot).
Thanks Andy... The model is a DP35N, serial number ET14E51052 and the engine model is a S4S... so if you know something, please let me know. Thanks
I don't know if i can help but if you post the model, serial number and any engine details you have i will try.
