The oddest of things.

Cranks won't run... unless I toss a jumper from ignition (bat +) to distributor. Then it runs and the forks operate but it will not go in to forward or reverse.
If I try the same thing with the selector in F or R, it won't start. So the neutral interlock seems to function. This thing is pretty darn analog. I think that is the only interlock. It's propane with a nissan engine. Just a little red dude that wants to run right but has an incompetent master.
