Discussion:
440v charger in 480v electric current

Do you know if I can install a 440v charger of an electric forklift in a 480v current? Is it going to charge the forklift properly? If not what do I need?

Thanks

It must be a fairly old charger and I assume that it is a manual type with a timer. If so, it should work fine but the timer will run faster than it would at 440 volt.
