Hyster QC20:
starter replacement/shroud removal

Anyone removed the starter from one of these. It is a 1959 three wheeler. I have removed most of the sheet metal around the wisonsin motor, but it appears the fan/turbine shroud could possible be bolted behind the fan/turbine in two places. That seems like a crazy thing to do. So has anyone seen one of these apart or perhaps have those pages in a manual? Once in the past it was done from a pit, but even that was very difficult. Thanks, Don

Ya it works a lot easier if you pull the forklift on it's side little and come from below the starter...I just hook a chain to the rack and use my truck to pull it up enough to get blocks under and I go from underneath the thing instead of pulling all the **** out of the way
