Discussion:
ISO Walkie W/Side-Shift

I have been watching my local area for a used Yale MSW040 or comparable walkie. This is for hobby use which I presently use a Crown MT20 to fill my needs, but it lacks side-shift capability. It's not out of necessity so I can afford to wait for the right deal.
My purpose for posting here is obtaining any firsthand information about side-shift capable walkie models from people who have actually used them.

I appreciate any input.

The chances of finding a walkie straddle truck with a side shifter are pretty nil. One reason is that since a side shifter moves past the carriage it would hit the straddle legs.

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
