H25T oil change info

Hi,
I've got a 2017 H25T I bought at auction and would like to do an oil change. I've looked over the engine and see there's plates covering the bottom of the engine. Do these plates need to be removed to change the oil and filter? Is it similar to a changing oil on a car motor?
