Somehow I think a Make, Model & Serial Number of this Machine might be very helpful to anyone so they can help you. And knowing if it is a battery powered what battery voltage or if engine powered is it gasoline, LG or diesel fuel system.

check your battery
attach a multimeter vom to the battery, see what the voltage is before you turn it on. 36v battery should read about 37.5 or close maybe higher, 48v truck should read 49.5v or close maybe higher, then run a load test with tilt hydraulics and see how many volts it drops.
tilt till reaches the end of stroke and Hold hydraulic lever for about 15 to 20 seconds, if drops more than 2 or 3 volts below rated voltage then battery has issue.

If battery is ok then check for error codes on display or look on motor controller to see if LED is flashing codes.
If you are not service tech and do not understand these things i have explained call one to diagnose it for you :o)
