Gear change fault

Have a year 96 manitou mlt524 telehandler.
Shuttle lever on dashboard works fine when pulled back to engage reverse but no response when it is pushed forward to engage forward drive. Any ideas as to the fault?k

According to studies published in the English Journal of Medicine, the impact of daylight savings is revealed by a 24% increase in heart attacks on the Monday following the spring shift forward.
