Discussion:
Toyota 6FB15 Error code C1

Dear friends,
I have a Toyota 6FB15 in, with C1 problem. Traction has stopped but hydraulics work. C1 means that current sensor indicates a problem to the controller and error appears. This truck has 2 exactly the same current sensors, one for traction and one for hydraulics. So I switched them (put the one to the other's position) and now I have an A6 error code and both hydraulics and traction stopped. Does this mean that the traction current sensor is damaged? Can you please post your opinion into this?

the problem was solved.
the upper first contact didn't work.
it stack.
i pushed and released it several times and got free again
i suppose that this is the contact for the reverse of the right wheel.

Mr Livanios,
i have the same problem with C1 at an electric Toyota forklift
it only stops the movement at a certain angle of the steering wheel cycle.
the current sensor is the potensiometer attached at the wheels turning shaft?
it can be adjusted to different angles. i have changed posotions but the problem occured at the very same position of the steering wheel.
any help will be appeciated...

Luis thank you very much. You were correct!

Just for general information for every one who reads this, I bought a new current sensor and I replaced the old one. C1 problem disappeared and traction restored complitely!
The A6 problem continued to appear some times and I cheched the switches of the hydraulic levers, as you've suggest me. The first lever's switch was defective and I attached a new one, so the A6 solved.

Thanks again for your time

Livanios

A6 means that one or more material handling lever switches are bad. First check every one.

If C1 is not more displayed after A6, your problem should be fixed adjusting these switchs.
