Crown RC3000:
brakes

I have a question regarding the so called dead man switch, is this the switch that will disactivate/prevent brakes from working?
and I think its important for operators to know or be thought/reminded that if the brakes fail upon releasing taking foot off the brake pedal the plugging should still work but this is providing the brake pedal is held down only.

If you lift your left foot ("dead man") pedal. It allows spring pressure to apply the mechanical brakes. ALSO when you lift left foot the "dead man" switch under the pedal cuts control power to the travel circuit meaning it will not plug. This is by design. You cannot brake with the mechanical brake ("dead man") and plug at the same time on a properly adjusted, maintained and functioning RC3000.
