how to set timing 4.3L - Technical Troubleshooting discussion in Forkliftaction's forums

Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) GP50:
how to set timing 4.3L

Hey everyone, i have a gp50 ser#at3350259 with a vortec 4.3L just curious if there is a certain or special way to set base ignition timing and what the spec is? cant find any info if i have to disconnect anything or bypass any sensors.....
