Hyster S50FT:
IGNITION COIL PROBLEM

NO DTC CODE SHOWED, I´VE A HYSTER S50FT FORKLIFT WITH GM 2400 4CYL, START ENGINE BUT NO SPARK IN CYLINDER 2, PUT A NEW IGNITION COIL AND NO SPARK IN ANY CILINDER, I CHECK DE ECU ALL IS TOTALLY NORMAL, SOMEBODY REGISTER THE SAME PROBLEM?

Glad to hear the problem's solved. I never use TVH for electronic parts unless I have to (at customer request or backordered thru OEM).

Thanks bbforks, thats was the problem, TVH solenoid coils did not work, i replaced to Hyster original parts.

Where did you source the ignition coil? If it's a TVH that could be your problem. I'd source an original Hyster part.

It's strange you only lost cyl #2- these are waste spark systems so you should have lost 2 cyl's at the same time.

If you know the truck came out of the local hyster dealer? Try enter the zip code. Other wise call a dealer & have them come out & change it.

Thanks BREWSKI, previously I checked crakn and cam sensor and both are operating good, somebody told me i need first enter to DTC menu to erase all error codes, but i cant enter with the 1111 and 5555 passwords, my client dont have any password, and i dont have a scanner to this forklift, if you know how to enter with other password i appreciatte a lot.

Strange that it started as one cylinder and then you lost all four. You will need to check all the related wiring from the coil packs to the ecu. This could also be a crank sensor or a cam sensor. Normally you will get a error code if one of the sensors is faulty. Do you have access to a good ECU? I would start with that.
