Hi all,
I'm replacing the clutch in my old FGC15 and don't have a service manual.
I've removed the bronze plug on the transaxle and pulled the splined engine shaft forward using a modified small block Chev harmonic balancer tool.
I've been able to remove the six bolts holding the clutch assembly to the flywheel.
How do I compress the clutch to make it thin enough to now slide up out of the bell housing?
The clutch has 9 springs and three levers (which are destroyed where they contact the throw out bearing).
Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Andrew
