Discussion:
Stock Toyota Dual Single Hose Reels

I have a customer with several Toyota 7 FGU45's, 1 year old, with stock mounted dual single line hose reels. This creates the well known problem with dual single line pressure supply line to the attachment going slack when the control handle is returned to neutral. I cannot convince them that Twin-line hose and reel is the answer to the problem. Does anyone know if Toyota has any optional valves to equilize line pressure in these reels or any published information concerning the use of dual, single line reels? Something in writing might really help me convince them. I also would like to know what Toyota would do if the customer ordered a stock Toyota Attachment (with hydraulics) for one of these trucks? Can some one Please shed some light on this for me? It would be Greatly appreciated. Thanks, Service Tech, Keith.
