Discussion:
Recently related death due to cabon monoxide poisioning.

I just read the articale of a person that died and several were affected by CO from a forklift. I understand this happens but the final line of the story states that the detectors used by the fire department alerted to high levels from the forklift of CO gas. My preoblem with that is not one fire department has a tailpipe exhaust analyzer, they use room monitors and of course it is going to read high levels. Keep in mind the exposure value to humans in the US is no more than 50ppm exposure to CO in the room over an 8 hour period. We as forklift dealers and repair facilities still need to be vigalant with checking exhaust gases on older forklifts so they operate as effeciently as possible. I just wanted to clear the air on this type of incident.

Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
