Discussion:
Clark not firing at coil

I have a Clark P232L-0185-9593KF. It turns over well, but does not fire at the coil. There's a message on the display, PIN 125/C GND. This is the first I've seen of this series Clark, with a Mitsubishi engine that uses a crank position sensor. If anyone could help with some troubleshooting information or a service manual, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks GW Ebbs

Hey, I was checking to see if you figured out the problem with your Clark. I am having the same issue, no power to the coil. Checked all fuses they are good. the coil has 2 red wires and 3 black wires. no power to any of them with key on and while starting. It has the woodward system. The pedal dance (key on press and release accel. pedal 3 times) not working for me. CQ25L, CQ230L-0148-9750 CNF
Thanks

Lifts Leaks and Lowers
Hi, I am new to the group. I have a C25L that I am bringing back to life. Everything was going good I ran it and everything was fine , I shut it off and the next day it would not start. I am not getting any fire at the plugs. I put a new coil on and it does the same. It sounded exactly like yours. Did you get yours figured out? This was in super rough condition and I am doing a resto as I am going. The POD face is so bad that I can not get any info from it. So that has not been any help. The only thing I did between running and starting great every time to not firing at all is, with the batt unhooked, I pulled each fuse and each relay from the fuse panel and cleaned the prongs. They were looking not so good. My guess is that there is a problem with fuse spade socket but without a wiring print or service manual, it is a needle in a haystack. Looking for some ideas or a wiring schematic. Ser# P232L

It is a Woodward fuel LPG system. I tried the procedure, but it won't display any codes. The PIN 125/c GND displays on the screen. Thanks for the info. A troubleshooting guide or description of this message would be greatly appreciated. This forklift has a 5 pin connector on the ignition coil. None of the wires have power when the ignition switch is turned on. None have power, even with the engine turning over. Thanks GW Ebbs

The following is the procedure to display fault codes.....i take it this is a woodward fuel sytem and an lpg truck????....fault codes will be either a two digit or three digit code that is flashed on the dash lights...maybe more than oone code flashed...let us know what codes are flashed if you can....

Displaying Fault Codes (DFC) From SECM Memory

To enter code display mode you must turn OFF the igni- tion key. Now turn ON the key but do not start the engine. As soon as you turn the key to the ON position you must cycle the foot pedal by depressing it to the floor and then fully releasing the pedal (pedal maneuver). You must fully cycle the foot pedal three (3) times within five (5) seconds to enable the display codes feature of the SECM. Simply turn the key OFF to exit display mode. The code list will continue to repeat until the key is turned OFF. An automatic code display feature is activated if a foot pedal fault condition exists. This feature enables the service technician to view the fault codes by turning the key to the ON position, if a foot pedal malfunction is preventing the retrieval of the stored fault codes from the SECM.
