Discussion:
Steering Issues

Hi & Hello , my first post. Hope some one can help.

I have a Linde H30 D forklift. An older one with Deutz engine.

It steers fine but when the steering wheel is turned I can feel every notch or gear on the way round. I assume it is the orbital unit. But I dont want to go ahead and buy another if its not. Any help would be appreciated.

Id say your right about the orbital. Jack the unit up in the back and turn just to make sure. I have had it feel different when new tires are put on.
