Display Trouble

The truck will key up and everything works. I have this message on the Display. (Waiting for Download Command). That is all it will show and I can not get into the settings.

The lift select button is on the left handle.
Same place as the horn button on the right handle.

I didn't read your post properly. Your truck is operational so all that needs to happen is a configuration download as I described.
Hold both deadman down. Key on with right hand and use left to push lift select 3 or 4 times before the truck starts selftest. Some guys just keep pushing the button fast. There is some timing to it but it's not like the pedal dance on a cat or anything.
You'll get it.

Yes, I am very familiar with sa/sb 96/9700 537 589 and TRT.

I didn't mention that you have to keep the deadman pedals down.
Push lift select button 3 or 4 times within 3 or 4 seconds.

If this does not work unplug the bus cable from the display interface card and see if it drives. If it does you need an interface card.

Try programming the display.
Step on both deadman. Key on and push lift select button 3 or 4 times, this will run configuration download. It will code 57. Turn off then try to drive normally.
