Only running on 2 cylinders

My forklift is currently only running on 2 cylinders i believe. 1 and 2 arent working and only 3 and 4 are. I remove the plug wire to test them and only when three and four are removed does it make a difference. But when one and 2 are romoved it stays the saame ive changed the ignition coil for both 1 and 2 and nothing changed and also changed wires and plugs. I dont know wherw to go from her. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The coils receive the signal to fire directly from the ECU. The wire numbers are 850-853. All coils share common positive feed and negative feed. The cam angle sensor is in the housing were the distributor cap would be mounted. You need to ohm the wires from the ECU to each coil. Also be sure you have a good positive and negative feed to each coil. The cam angle sensor might be defective. The ECU could also be defective.

Do the spark plug wires go to the top of the distributor/cam angle sensor or do they go to coil packs?

I would take the spark plugs out and place them on the head with the wired connected, crank it over and look for sparks to make sure what is going on. Any that don't spark check the plugs that hook to the coils with the 3 wires. They have a problem where the wire breaks right where they go into the plug. You can carefully pull on them to locate any broken ones.

It does seem like the plugs and wires also go in to the cam sensor. This is wired just before the plugs and is on the rear top of the engine in front of the fan. Is this the cam sensor?

which motor, and which system (is this a mazda with an EPR?) the plugs and wire going into the "cam sensor" (where a distributor would be if it had one) can be part of this problem.
