Discussion:
Building pressure in cooling system.

I have a Linde 40HD, serial number H2X394TO3995. It seems to building pressure in the cooling system. It has cracked one plastic reservoir already, and broken two of the plastic fittings in the hose. We took the thermostat out to see if maybe it was bad, but didn't seem to make a difference. Lift started running hot before it started busting fittings, that's when we took out thermostat. Water seems to be circulating, but could it be a weak water pump?

Had the same problem with crappy TVH header tanks, the plastic is to thin, buy genuine Linde part.

Could be the water pump but have also seen and heard of either cracked heads or blown head gaskets pushing pressure in the cooling system.

Ive replaced a few reservoir housings on older 392 & 394's due to cracking around the plastic seam.

The plastic reservoir material was made stronger & I haven't replaced any of them a 2nd time.

There pretty cheap from Linde for a genuine part.
