Discussion:
Low power in traction and hydraulic systems.

Hello everyone, I am having a problem with a clients 2EC25 unit.
Serial A2EC263698
Seems the traction and hydraulic systems seem slow.
I'm assuming a low or poor condition battery and I also want to
check for stored logic codes, but I have been away from the manual for so long I forgot the procedure.
I remember to remove the line fuse, then cycle through the system tests, then contactor test, but thought the codes were suppose to show up after the second pass through the contactor test. I didn't see any and it keeps going through the contactor tests. Thanks for any and all help.

I have seen a out of adjustment/faulty brake pedal switch cause low traction power.

you may want to try it this way

1. Start with the key switch OFF.
2. Remove the logics cover.
3. Place the DIAG/RUN/SETUP switch to DIAG.
4. Turn the key switch ON while pulling back on the
LIFT and TILT levers.
The fault codes will appear on the display, beginning
with the most recent.
To toggle through to the next code move the DRS switch back to run and then back to diag and it will cycle to the next code stored, when you reach the end of the list the display will indicate 'done'.
I would also check and see what operator mode the truck is set in... it could be set to a slower mode causing the slower performance.

But before you do any of this always check the battery condition and make sure it's not just a dead battery ;o)

The use of "hello" as a telephone greeting is attributed to Thomas Edison. He is said to have suggested it as a simpler alternative to other greetings, such as "Do I get you?" or "Are you there?".
