will not close pc contactor

lift has no functions, travel,lift, horn inop. pc contactor will not close. have good power and control fuses and battery is at 26vdc. when key is turned on icon on display blinks 9 times with a pause and then repeats. lift has no keypad, just keyswitch. any ideas?

to insure you are getting the right error code pull the motor cover and look on the controller itself and there should be an LED light at one end of the connectors. See what it is flashing.
A blinking hour meter display does not guarantee anything.

But as was mentioned before error 9 can be 2 things.
ereverse button pressed or bad switch.

This is a problem with the Emergency Reverse switch. It can be faulty or if it is pushed in a start up it will throw this code.
