Discussion:
Ignition module

Customer has a 2001 Hyster H40XMS. No start, no spark. No signal from ignition module. Distributor was corroded and rusty. Replaced distributor with OEM, replaced coil from NAPA. Engine ran 2 days. No spark, replaced coil with OEM. One day, no spark. No signal from module. Replaced ignition module with OEM. Ran one day. Ignition module out again. What could be taking out ignition module?

Also check your grounds. Make sure the engine is grounded to the chassis & the chassis is grounded to the battery. I've seen some short cuts where a ground gets left out which can cause issues

Customers love technology- until they have to pay to fix it!
What engine is it?? Mazda M420G probably. Check your charging voltage I've seen the alternators on these giving out over 16Volts on a poor battery that would take out the module. Is the module genuine from hyster or some crappy oem (TVH) like part
