Discussion:
Prime Mover OPX30 Wire Guidance Error

Does anybody know what a code E01 on the guidance manager card means. Unit steers fine in manual, but as soon as you switch to guidance and start to turn the unit shuts down. At first I thought is was calibration issue since I always manually drove onto the wire, so ran all guidance calibrations, no luck, I then swapped filter and guidance manager cards then ran calibrations, no luck. I then realized as soon as I toggled the guidance switch to guidance and turned the unit shuts down no matter where I am, even if I am nowhere near the aisles. The working units allow you to drive with the guidance on to acquire the signal no matter how far away you are from the wire. I am leaning towards the steer or logic card but I am not sure, I cant swap the steer card from another unit, because a steer card from another unit will overwrite the carriage manager possibly creating more problems, you can only install a new card and I am not sure that is the problem. I inherited this job from another tech, originally only one unit had issues, but after subsequent part swaps 2 donor units now have guidance issues that were not there before, as well as the original problem. I got stuck in the middle of these issues and I really do not know where to go from here with out throwing possibly unnecessary expensive parts at them.
