CAT NR4000 Alarm 37 Mod #6 - Random

Have a Cat Nr4000 With a random alarm / error. Alarm 37 Mod # 6. No FWD or REV. Cycling the key switch resolves the problem. Any Help or insight on trouble shooting would be great

EPS Defective, Sent to FSIP to have them reman the unit.

Alarm 37 Mod 6 is an EPS Logic failure #3

The rest state voltage of the phases V and U is high. If the alarm occurs permanently, the EPS needs to be replaced.

Check the steering motor and steering system for binding.
Also check the steer generator output signal.

you will need the troubleshooting voltage pin by pin worksheets from the manual to effectively troubleshoot this.
