Discussion:
Crown code 417- needing help

Crown RR5285S-45
reach truck

The charger was plugged directly in to the forklift. Oops.

Fuse 11 was blown. It has now been replaced. Still getting code 417.

csn anyone point me towards a code list? I dont have access to any Crown troubleshooting resources except for here. Thanks.

Showing items 1 - 4 of 4 results.
Fixed it.
Manually pushed in emergency disconnect contactor below fuse 9. Immediately heard and smelled sizzle.... got some smoke out of something.

Now the forklift works. All functions OK. Cleared the codes and have run it for a bit.

I have no idea what burned. I can't find any cable issues. I thought maybe I melted a dead short away from the frame but I'm not sure that I did.

Oh well. I'll have my eyes on this lift.

No b+ @traction controller.

Emergency disconnect contractor isn't ever pulling in and it provides b+ through fuse 9 to the traction controller.

Access 2 and access 3 modules both have their green LEDs on.

Access 3 is coding 1,4,1,7

code 417 is on the "wrench" screen and the display says "please stand by".

I cleared the codes and 417 returns. The truck never completes a self test.
