Hi everyone! I have a gp080vx It has a gasoline only vortec 4.3 v6. The unit will start and run for two seconds then shuts off. The original problem is that the unit had sat so long with old gas. drained the gas installed new gas and still the same problem.I went into the display and cleared the codes then it ran about 30-45 seconds until codes popped up and then shuts the truck off.If anyone has a manual i would greatly appreciate it. email [url/email removed] the code popping up is a 653-6 and before i erased the code history i believe it was a 654-6,652-6,656-6. The fuel pressure is 58 psi +-5.

these really are far better checked with the laptop computer with the engine running. it is a vary fast pulsed signal from the ECU that makes the injector fire, and very rarely is the problem with the injector found in the injector's coil, but rather the injector tip is what goes bad.

DTC 652-6 - GM Gas Injector 2 Drive Circuit Shorted To Ground
DTC 653-6 - GM Gas Injector 3 Drive Circuit Shorted To Ground
DTC 654-6 - GM Gas Injector 4 Drive Circuit Shorted To Ground
DTC 656-6 - GM Gas Injector 6 Drive Circuit Shorted To Ground
Possible causes are:
- Injector Driver Circuit Short To Ground
- Shorted Injector Coil
- Injector Driver Module Failure
- Functional Failure in Controller
