This Yale GLC030AFNUAE082, A809N, had a brake issue. When the tires were pulled, 2 upper brake springs on 1 side were broken, and 1 upper brake spring on the other side was broken. Any outsides causes, or just tired brake springs? Strange for 3 out of 4 springs to brake all in a same time frame.

No everything looked pretty good, I think they decided to all go to sleep together
Where the self adjusters working correctly & the brake adjustment OK? Maybe brakes were too loose? Was there any rust (outside enviroment)? I've had both those issues
Everything looked ok. The brakes were alittle worn because they pushed againest the drums for a time.
What did the pads and wheel cylinders look like...drums scored any???
No, no brake work recently. The truck runs an average of 6 hours a day, 5 days for the past 5 years. And they are hard hours, busy season is 8 hours at least, slow season about 4
this truck had any brake work done recently or anytime in the past? maybe the tech inadvertantly damaged the springs when re-installing them and they just broke. Yes this is unusual.
