GLC040ABJUAE083 N410501. I was told the mast (5210 53003 EK8) does not exist. I was told the the FFL cylinder is a wrong # (50707067), its is badly worn. I need the FFL packing for this triple, can anyone help w/ a p/n?

Both of my old Yale GC books ( one is for serial N410179) show a part number of
5051360-11 for the center cylinder of a triple mast.

Swoop & 7777- you 2 are so right. These new trucks don't save anyone any money- it just changes where they spend it. As far as the packing- you may have to go to a hydraulics shop & get the packing there ( after you remove & disassemble the cyl- of course ;) ).

Customers love technology- until they have to pay to fix it!
Yes swoop your right. They get rid of what works, fill it up w/ software, intergrate planned obsolesance, and tell everyone that they're saving the planet.
People believe it,spend alot of $ on a new machine, then spend a whole bunch more in computer down time, and repairs. After a couple years of that, the salesman returns and says the truck is no longer cost effective, so lets do it all over again.

well 7777,
it could be that yale no longer has that information available or are not willing to find it.
i'm sure they would like to see these old antiques gone and force consumers to buy newer lifts instead of fixing the old ones ;o)

know what i mean?

hopefully someone has held on to some old hardback manuals and comes up and helps you out... if yale isnt willing to i dont know where else you are going to find this information.

oh and as far as that missing digit? generally if its 1 digit short just add a 0 to the beginning of the number. Thats how we did it years ago when i worked for yale. Not sure why they leave it off.

good luck

I think you're missing a digit, Yale numbers are 9 digits.

hello swoop223
The mast # I got from the bottom of the upper cross member, the cyl. # I got off the cyl.
SMH comfirmed the place, but the #'s are no good, or so they say.

7777,
those numbers look like part numbers to me, not mast numbers
did you check on the side of the outer channel for any stamped numbers? they are usually stamped on the outside about the same height as the tilt cylinder eyelet on the right side, or left, i cant remember for sure which side.
sometimes on older ones the number is stamped on the crossbar at the top but usually you see the channel part number there.

you might have to do some scraping if its been painted before

good luck

Fact of the week
In Germany, the 9th of November is sometimes called Schicksalstag, the "Day of Fate" because it has been the day for several major historical events, including the horrors of Kristallnacht in 1938 and the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.
