Discussion:
AC input on charger

I have a Tennant 2200 36v charger. I need to change input from 408v to 220v 1ph. I moved board inside to 220v.now charger turns on for about 5 seconds then shuts down. The manual was not with charger. There are six nuts holding board in.2 are obvious but not sure about others.I tried several different places. Is there something else I need to switch for 220? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Showing items 1 - 2 of 2 results.
there is also a jumper that needed to be moved on the control transformer (small, electrically attached to the line contactor's [24v] coil) a/c input line. maybe too late now. more than likely still will work if you fix the wires
