I have an algas mixer model 60. can it be replace by an impco one?
this mixer is a 90 degre with 2 1/16 AH.
the bottom of it it is a cross shape 4 bolts. Not the usual 4 bolt square shape.

not worth the trouble that would possibly happen after the cross-match. These components are designed to work together and cross-matching non-oem parts doesnt seem to work well from my experience.
If your going to do anything i'd do a full system conversion and get away from the algas system all together. i'll assume your having trouble finding oem repair parts for that? They were good back in the day but todays LP components are lots better imo.
Even if it works, I wouldn't do it. I remember when a certain company about 30 years ago, put a G55 Centry converter w/ a Impco mixer. It worked well, but a bug crwaled up the customers @ss and it ended up costing the company $10K.
