Discussion:
Aisle-master no hydraulics or steering

I have an electric aislemaster 20se. The hydraulics and steering has stopped working. All fuses etc are ok. Checked contactor and is working and when i bridge the hydraulics work. Traced wiring back to the board and i have no negative coming from the board to the hyd contactor coil. Any ideas?

Steering is actuated by the accelarator pedal. Have you got any fault lights flashing on either of the curtis control units. Have you got DC drive and DC lift, AC drive and DC lift or AC drive and AC lift. I f you have got DC drive and DC lift. Pin no. 10 on the drive controller feeds pin 10 on the Lift controller once the accelarator has been pressed. This will bring the pump motor in at a reduced speed for the steering.

You can also check the fault codes/history by plugging in a curtis programmer.

since your hydraulics and power steering do not energise i will assume you have no truck operation (drive) either?

i would also check your directional switch inputs and seatswitch circuits.

Check the pressure switch on the main pressure line on the control valve.
