Toyota 7FBMF16 AC - slow drive

HI there
The customer complained the truck would drive ok in forwards but when selecting reverse it would only creep and after letting go of the accelerator it would still continue to creep.
I have jacked the truck up and for me its creeping both in forwards and reverse. I am assuming it is not the accelerator pot as then it would or should not make a difference irrespective of direction, however now that its doing them same in both directions I will check this in the morning.

What I wanted to ask was does anybody have any pointers or does anybody think it could be caused by the Speed sensor/encoder in the motor?

Sounds like the speed sensor bearing to me you can always swap the plugs with the hyd motor and when you start to drive pull the lift lever and see if the truck speeds up i have a spare bearing i plug into the suppect motor and bolt on top to try.

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
