this system shows a code 46, so we replaced #1 rec, and for kicks and giggles #2 & 5 rec were replaced w/ 2pcs. of #2 recs. The problem has not changed, no contact pick-up on F/R and code 46 is displayed. Changed the reactor because the truck did PMT (kick) one time. The card was replaced about a month ago. Any suggestions before I replace part by part?

It turned out the new #1 rec was no good.
?assume? you have already checked all power cables for 'shorts to frame' and fixed any short with less than 100k resistance.
Traction wheels off the ground, disconnect 1 wire from all accessory like headlights and backup alarm (open their circuit)
Confirm drive motors runs when 1a (bypass) and 1 direction contactor (and line contactor, if so equipped).
Confirm all connections to tb1 through tb6 getting correct voltage for the desired operation condition.
I did check them, this issue is something out of the ordinary
what truck is it in? I looked up the code for a clark and one thing mentioned was 1A contactor defective or welded tips, might want to check this?? Another thing it might be is the insulator UNDER the #1 REC might have a tear in it or not be insulating the REC good enough from the mounting base causing the REC to short to the base. Check the 1A tips first to see if they are welded.
