thwaites 1 ton dumper hydrostatic drive

wonder if anyone can help,have a thwaites i ton dumper no brakes hydro drive ,once u select drive vehicle tries to drive but doesnt seem to release the brakes,theres no brake or handbrake etc its all done thru the f&r lever,someone told me theres an antitheft device sumtimes fitted to these to prevent them being driven off,can anyone help with a diagram of the wirring etc?
