Discussion:
Error curtis 1207 status led 3-2

Hi

I need help for the electric stacker using curtis 1207
Before the problem on motor drive, after a days electric brake was loose from the place. And then i'll check connect all cables, brake and throttle. The error code from led status show 3-2, I read the manual it means welded direction contactor, and from manual the possible cause is direction contactor stuck closed.
Does any one can help me hot to analyze, before I check contactor is still active (on/off) , and after this i check the motor voltage across the 4 pole.

Thank you

since you had a problem with electric brake i would go back and check brake unit for short to frame, also check brake switch circuit. If you press brake and code comes then the problem may be in brake unit.

Hi swoop

this machine using SW80 for main contactor and DC88 as contact forward and reverse motor.
Symptom 1. when KSI on, brake off, led status 1207 is blink normaly, after brake on (release) suddenly status led change to 3-2.
Check voltage across motor drive > 18 V.
Check contactor using input direct from batter 24V are still working ( measure by meter) still contact.
I'm curious that there are short cable on motor or contactor is weak to full contact.

Thank you

Fact of the week
The origin of "love" as the score zero in tennis is debated, but two main theories prevail. One suggests it's derived from the French word "l'oeuf" (egg) which resembles the shape of the number zero. The other proposes it's related to the Dutch word "lof" meaning "honour" as players might be playing for honour when scoreless.
